Then the king [a]gave orders to call in the (A)soothsayer priests, the conjurers, the sorcerers, and the [b]Chaldeans, to [c]tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king. The king said to them, “I [d](B)had a dream, and my spirit [e]is anxious to [f]understand the dream.”

Then the Chaldeans spoke to the king in [g](C)Aramaic: “(D)O king, live forever! (E)Tell the dream to your servants, and we will declare the interpretation.”
